SyntheticBrew Brand Usage Terms

These Brand Usage Terms (the “Terms”) govern the use of the trademarks, logos, names, colors, and other brand elements (collectively, the “Brand Assets”) of Synthetic AI Inc (“we,” “us,” “our”), including the “SyntheticBrew” name and wordmark, the “Synthetic Brew” name, the SyntheticBrew logo, and the “Synthetic AI Inc” company name. By using any Brand Assets, you agree to these Terms.

1. Permitted uses (no approval required)

You may use the Brand Assets without asking us first, provided you follow the guidelines in Section 3 and your use does not suggest affiliation with or endorsement by us:

Community and content

In blog posts, articles, documentation, videos, podcasts, social media, forums, and conference talks that reference, review, teach, or discuss SyntheticBrew.
In screenshots of the product, including the admin dashboard and chat widget, in educational or editorial content.

Open-source and integrations

In open-source repositories, README files, and code examples to indicate that your project integrates with, supports, or runs on SyntheticBrew — for example “works with SyntheticBrew” or “built on SyntheticBrew” — as long as it is clear the project is yours and not an official Synthetic AI project.
Displaying “Powered by SyntheticBrew” to acknowledge that your application runs on SyntheticBrew. The attribution badge shown by the SyntheticBrew Cloud free plan widget is an authorized use of this form.
Linking to syntheticbrew.ai or our GitHub repository is always welcome.

Media and news

Journalists, bloggers, and analysts may use the Brand Assets in news coverage and reports, provided the content is factually accurate and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement by us.

2. Uses that require prior written approval

Email [email protected] and obtain written approval before:

Commercial marketing. Using the Brand Assets in advertising, promotional materials, sales collateral, or paid training, consulting, or courses in a way that could suggest we offer, endorse, or certify them.
Partnership and endorsement claims. Describing yourself as an “official partner,” “certified provider,” or similar, or otherwise implying a partnership, certification, or sponsorship that does not exist.
Product naming and domains. Using “SyntheticBrew” or a confusingly similar name in your product name, company name, domain name, app name, or social media handle.
Merchandise. Placing the Brand Assets on t-shirts, stickers, posters, or any other physical goods.
Modifications and composite marks. Altering the logo (colors, proportions, fonts, effects) or combining it with other logos or symbols to create a new mark.

3. Usage guidelines

Naming

The product name is “SyntheticBrew” — one word, capital S and capital B. The two-word form “Synthetic Brew” is also acceptable in prose. Do not write “Syntheticbrew,” “synthetic brew,” or “SB.”
The company is “Synthetic AI Inc” — use the company name for legal, corporate, and services contexts, and the product name for the software.
Use the name as a proper adjective or noun for our product, not as a verb and not for your own product.

Logo

The current official logo files are: logo for light backgrounds (PNG) and logo for dark backgrounds (SVG).

Use only these official files, in their current versions, without alteration. Use the light-background version on light surfaces and the dark-background version on dark surfaces.
Do not distort, stretch, rotate, recolor, outline, add effects to, or animate the logo.
Keep clear space around the logo of at least the height of the logo’s wordmark letters, and do not render it smaller than 24 px tall (or the equivalent in print) so it stays legible.

Colors

The official SyntheticBrew palette is orange #D7513E (accent), beige #F7F8F1 (light background), cream #FFFDF8 (page background), and black #111111 (text and dark background). When the logo appears in brand colors, use these values without substitution.

Screenshots

Screenshots of the product are welcome in content and coverage. Before sharing a screenshot, redact any personal data, customer data, confidential information, and credentials (API keys, tokens, connection strings) visible in it.

4. Trademark and copyright notice

“SyntheticBrew,” the SyntheticBrew logo, and related brand elements are trademarks of Synthetic AI Inc. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of, or grant any license to, the Brand Assets beyond the limited permissions described above. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Misuse and enforcement

We may revoke permission to use the Brand Assets at any time, and may require you to stop a use that violates these Terms or that we reasonably consider misleading, disparaging, or harmful to the brand. Unauthorized or misleading use of the Brand Assets may result in legal action. Nothing in these Terms restricts uses independently permitted by law, such as truthful nominative references to the product.

6. Requesting permission

If your use case requires approval under Section 2, email [email protected] with: your name and company, a description of how you intend to use the Brand Assets, and supporting materials such as mockups or links. We aim to respond promptly to every request.

7. Reporting misuse

If you believe the Brand Assets are being misused, email [email protected] with a description of the issue, relevant evidence such as links or screenshots, and your contact information.

8. Updates to these Terms

We may update these Brand Usage Terms from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date, and continued use of the Brand Assets constitutes acceptance of the current version.
